The ASOIC8S adapter allows an unattached 8 pin serial eeprom or serial SPI flash eprom part to be easily attached to the ASERSM1A, CABLE8/DD or CON2DIP INTERFACE. The ASOIC8S installs directly onto the header pins of the corresponding adapter or interface (see photos). The positive lock clamshell socket opens to accept the part.
