OEM Refurbished Parts
Covers OEM Refurbished Remotes, Smart Keys and Remote Head Keys
■ 30 Days - Credit Card Refund 
■ 180 Days - Store Credit 
■ Parts that are still sealed in AKG packaging can be returned for store credit. 
■ If a client returns a product for reasons other than defective within return policy parameters, shipping will be deducted from store credit or credit card refund. 
■ 365-Day Warranty Policy (Defective Only) This warranty policy provides a part for part exchange - If a replacement isn’t available, Store Credit will be issued.

Keyless2Go
Covers all Remotes, Smart Keys, Remote Head Keys, Transponder Keys, Mechanical Keys and Key Shells
■ 30 Days - Credit Card Refund 
■ 180 Days - Store Credit

Standard Aftermarket Parts

■ 14 Days - Credit Card Refund 
■ 90 Days - Store Credit 
■ Parts that are still sealed in AKG packaging can be returned for store credit. 
■ If a client returns a product for reasons other than defective within return policy parameters, shipping will be deducted from store credit or credit card refund. 
■ 180-Day Warranty Policy (Defective Only) This warranty policy provides a part for part exchange - If a replacement isn’t available, Store Credit will be issued.


Key Cutting Machines, Key Programmers and Tools
Covers Key Cutting Machines, Key Cutting Accessories, Key Programmers, Key Programming Accessories and Tools
■ 30 Days - Store Credit Only, Pending Inspection by Our Techs 
■ NO Credit Card Refunds on Key Cutting Machines or Key Programmers 
■ Defective Key Machines/Programmers Purchased within 30 Days will be Eligible for Replacement 
■ Tech Inspection Required with Applicable Quote as Necessary for Xhorse and SmartBox Equipment 
■ All Other Key Machine and Programmer Warranty Questions and Concerns are to be Directed to the Respective Manufacturer 
■ Key cutting machines, key programmers and tools are subject to a 10% restocking fee when returned. If the store credit is applied toward products in the same key cutting machine, key programmer and tool part categories, this 10% restocking fee may be waived. 
■ If a client uses this store credit on non-equipment related products, a 10% restocking fee will apply. 
 
Adhesives, Lubricants and Fasteners
Covers Glue, Screws, Roll Pins and Liquids
■ 30-Day Warranty (Defective Only) 
■ Replacement, if Defective 
■ Part for Part Exchange - If Replacement isn’t Available, Store Credit will be Issued

What's your return policy for hardware? 
RMAs are only issued up to 60 days from the invoice date and are valid for 45 days from the date of issue. All returns must have an RMA (Return Material Authorization) number before the return of the material or request for credit. To request an RMA number, email info@keyinnovations.com or call 640-224-0031. Any material received without an RMA will not be accepted and returned at the customer’s expense. Please note, an RMA number does not guarantee final disposition and all returns are subject to final inspection. All exchanged or returned merchandise must be in the original factory carton, including all packaging materials, inserts, manuals, and all accessories. The material must be new and in good, stockable condition, and must not have been previously installed.
 
All customer requests to return “stock” material will have a standard 25% restocking fee, in addition to original freight charges (if applicable), and will be credited (excluding return shipping and handling charges) after inspection. Returns on all factory ordered material are subject to both Key Innovations and the factory’s approval and have a minimum 45% restocking fee. No returns of factory ordered material under $250.00 will be accepted. All Allegion brands (Falcon, Glynn-Johnson, Ives, LCN, Schlage Lock, Schlage Electronics, Von Duprin) factory ordered material are non-returnable. Replacement of defective material or material shipped in error will be invoiced and credited upon receipt of defective or incorrect material. Products are warranted solely by the manufacturer with the complete warranty included with the product, and are also subject to the conditions set forth by the manufacturer. 

Package/Box Charges: Customers will be charged a repacking fee for damaged or altered boxes, including tape or writing on package, if they need replacing 
(manufacturers charge Key Innovations for replacement boxes). Credit amount will be reduced for missing components (cylinders, strikes, etc.) at the discretion of Key Innovations’ Returns Department. All returns must be packed in an outer shipping carton with a valid RMA number on the outside of the shipping carton. No returned material will be accepted without a Return Materials Authorization number. Please ship your parcel freight prepaid, using an insured ground service. 

Return labels: A FedEx return label will be provided for return of material that was shipped out in error or if the material is deemed defective. If a UPS label is needed, please specify when requesting an RMA, as we can provide a UPS label for customers with UPS pickups. If a shipping label is needed for a customer RMA, there will be a $25 charge.

MWK, LR, YKS and IKS Legacy Return Policy Crossover 
o All returns under legacy company policies will not be accepted after February 1, 2023

o Gifts or promotional items 
o Special Orders 
o Transponder Chips 
o Software, Subscriptions, Tokens and any other Digital Activations 

 

Are there any charges for return? 
o There is a 10% restocking fee for applicable returns. 
o Original shipping charges are non-refundable 

 

Do you offer warranty repair? 
o Items needing analysis for warranty repair will be shipped to our repair 
center at the customers expense. 
o Analyzed or repaired items will be returned to the customer via free 
ground shipping.
