The KR55 Keymaker is a new programming device that allows you to program KR55 Flip Remote Keys and Fixed Bladed Keys to Dodge/Mercedes Sprinter, Chrysler Crossfire, Mercedes R170 (SLK), R129 (SL), W140 (S Class), W461 (G Class), W168 (A Class), W414 (Vaneo) vehicles.
This is the only solution available in the US market currently besides the dealer tool that allows programming of the remote function on the IR Flip Remote Keys, As a side note, these keys are no longer available for purchase through the Mercedes Dealership.
With the KR55 Keymaker, you can program keys in both Add A Key and All Keys Lost (AKL) situations. For an Add A Key situation, the entire process is all done through the OBD Connector and requires no eprom programming or soldering. In an All Keys Lost (AKL) situation you will need to remove a module from the vehicle and read the data from the module. This can be done by soldering wires to the PCB, removing the MCU from the PCB, or using Click-N-Go Adapters which are sold separately. This device is easy to use and one of a kind!

Important Note: These programs connect with a server in China. You MUST disable your anti-virus and firewall in order to download the programs and updates. Any active anti-virus will try to delete the files as it does not recognize the file as safe. They are safe but because of language issue it is often seen as a virus and it will delete your files. YOU MUST DISABLE YOUR ANTI-VIRUS AND FIREWALL or you will not be able to download the software properly.
