The GMS-K001-YA-26D-A2 is a key-in-knob (KIK) / knob cylinder unit designed for use in commercial or institutional doors using Yale “8” style keying (Yale Para / Y1 / Y2). It fits into standard knob or lever hardware that accepts removable cylinders. This unit is supplied keyed alike (A2 / US1), meaning multiple cylinder units will operate with the same key, useful for multi-door installations.
Its finish is US26D (satin chrome) which gives a low-shine, corrosion-resistant surface ideal for heavy use areas. The cylinder is constructed with solid brass internal components for durability and reliable keying. It supports a 5-pin tumbler configuration and is drilled to 6-pin depth to allow compatibility with certain aftermarket rekeying or add-on pin kits.
