New AutoProPAD Software Update Expands ProMaster Vehicle Support

The latest AutoProPAD software release delivers expanded key programming coverage for Dodge RAM ProMaster vehicles from 2014 through 2025. This update is now available on the following key programming tools:

• AutoProPAD G3 Evolution

• AutoProPAD G2

• AutoProPAD G2 Turbo

Critical Programming Requirements for Dodge RAM ProMaster

Battery Disconnect Required for 2014–2016 Models

For all 2014–2016 Dodge ProMaster vehicles, you must disconnect the battery before attempting key programming. This prevents potential damage to vehicle modules and ensures a successful programming process.

12+8 FCA Bypass Cable Required for 2020 and Newer

Starting in 2020, ProMaster vehicles include a secure gateway module that requires a 12+8 bypass cable. This cable is essential for accessing and programming keys on these models.

Proximity Smart Keys Not Supported

At this time, proximity (push-to-start) smart keys are not supported for any year of Dodge RAM ProMaster. This release applies strictly to standard remote and transponder keys.

Pre-Coding Is Mandatory

All ProMaster key programming jobs require pre-coding with the appropriate tool:

• KC100 pre-coder is included with AutoProPAD G3 Evolution and G2

• KC501 pre-coder is included with AutoProPAD G2 Turbo
